LGBT+ Beginner Teacher Network

Date: Mon, February 6, 2023
Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM GMT
Where: Online

We are delighted to continue the 2022 – 2023 LGBT+ Beginner Teacher Network, aimed at LGBT+ trainee and early career teachers!

The network is hosted by Pride & Progess’ Adam Brett and Jo Brassington who are secondary and primary teachers respectively. The network is designed to bring together LGBT+ teachers in the early stages of their career. We have termly meetings which provide opportunities to network with like-minded professionals, hear from teachers and leaders in the profession, and to ask questions and seek advice.

The next meeting is on the 6th of February and will be a joint event with ASCL’s (Association of School and College Leaders) LGBT+ network, which will be an exciting opporunity to hear from and network with LGBT+ leaders in the profession.

The event will be held on Teams and you will be sent a diary invite link nearer the time.

You can follow Pride & Progress on Twitter and Instagram @PrideProgress and can listen to the podcast here: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/pride-progress/id1560726186
