We are delighted to announce that the East Midlands South Primary Maths Conference 2022 is now available for booking. This is our 9th year running the event which is sure to inspire Primary Teachers, Leaders and Specialists to improve and develop their Maths practice in school.
Conference Summary
In response to feedback from last year and current research into maths teaching, this year ’s conference will focus on ‘Building a Bigger Picture’ helping leaders to focus on the teaching of maths and wider connections across the curriculum and school improvement agenda. From ensuring that our early maths curriculum balances the importance of early number sense and instils early problem solving skills to reflecting on our current maths journey after eighteen months of disruptive teaching and learning, and how to prioritise the curriculum to meet the needs our pupils needs moving forward and much more! This year we will delivering our usual high quality conference and moving our venue to The Leicester Tigers Conference Centre which promises to be an inspiring venue for us to learn and collaborate.
